This one time first runner-up for the Miss USA pageant girl turned her acting career into gold after appearing in numerous big screen pictures. In 2001, Berry won an Academy Award as Best Actress for the film, Monster's Ball. The award made Berry the first African American woman to win an Oscar for Best Leading Actress...and it all came after she bared it all in the movie.
Not surprising, it works out that way because sex really does sell. It almost seems as a standard, like you can't make it unless you show us a little something first (that is for women of course).
ReplyDeleteYes..i love Halle Berry but I feel like she had to appear nude in this movie to push her over the edge to win an Oscar..i feel like she played better dramatic roles like in Queen and Losing Isaiah
